Rahal Ducati Moto Wraps-Up a Successful Season!
Congratulations to team Rahal Ducati Moto on a successful 2024 season! This past weekend, the team wrapped up the final round of the 2024 MotoAmerica season in the SuperSport class at New Jersey Motorsports Park, a track very familiar to riders PJ Jacobsen, Corey Alexander, and Kayla Yaakov, making it the perfect place to round-out the year! From the wins, podiums, continued resilience shown, and drive to improve each weekend, the team has a lot to be proud of looking back on this 9-round, 18-race long championship.
In the team’s maiden MotoAmerica Supersport season they achieved great success, and even saw themselves contending for the championship with PJ Jacobsen, rider of the #15 XPEL Ducati Panigale V2, in a tight battle that went all the way to New Jersey! Throughout the season across all 3 riders, Rahal Ducati Moto accrued 7 race wins, 20 podiums, and 29 top-five finishes showing strong progress and consistency over the course of the season! To accomplish those results in the team’s first year is a very impressive feat. Consistency like that is only possible with the strong effort of a team who took every hurdle in stride, and learned from each weekend. From the riders, to the crews, and everyone in between, the determination shown in the organization was on display each time the team took to the track.
In the final race of the weekend at New Jersey the team secured three top-ten finishes with the #15 XPEL Ducati of PJ Jacobsen in 1st, the #23 Roller Die + Forming Ducati Panigale V2 of Corey Alexander in 3rd, and the #19 XPEL Panigale V2 of Kayla Yaakov in 7th place. Jacobsen, Alexander, Yaakov, and Team Principal Ben Spies were pleased to cap the season off with another victory for the team before heading into the off-season
We are sure the team will accomplish even more in 2025, and we cannot wait to see them in the fight for the championship again! For now, we wish everyone with Rahal Ducati Moto a relaxing off-season. The future ahead is bright!
