Description: The Social Media Coordinator for Graham Rahal Performance and Ducati Indianapolis will be tasked to monitor and manage social media accounts for both brands while also implementing marketing strategies through these accounts and digital platforms. The position will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brands to drive sales. Candidates must be comfortable in maintaining various marketing campaigns and have a creative skillset which enables them to brainstorm new initiatives.


This role is an in-office position located in Brownsburg, Indiana.

This is a salary position.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  

·       Develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brands via social and digital outlets

·       Create engaging text, image and video content through social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)

·       Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products

·       Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

·       Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries 

·       Develop an optimal posting schedule      

·       Coordinate and design email campaigns and monthly newsletters

·       Work closely with team members on ad promotions and events to ensure they are promoted on all available platforms

·       Kindly greet customers and answer company phones


HOURS


·      Tuesday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

·       Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.


 Other Information:

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Expertise in multiple social media platforms

·       Photography skills preferred

·       Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva

·       Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) 

·       Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively

·       Collaborate with Marketing Director

 

KNOWLEDGE / ADDITIONAL SKILLS / APTITUDE

  

Passion for motorsports and social media. Proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools. Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends of the digital content and social media space. Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills. Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
