Rahal Ducati Indianapolis has been open for business six months officially, and we are sincerely grateful for all the support and excitement from the Ducatista community. When we opened to the public in February, only three employees were shouldering the demands, and we have since grown to a strong staff of eight with over seventy years of Ducati experience combined. We’d like to introduce our talented team that you’ll be working with when you come into the Rahal Ducati Indianapolis dealership.

Keith Gingerich is the Ducati Indianapolis General Manager and first started working in the industry in 2002. Starting as a motorcycle technician, Keith worked with various brands, but Ducati stood out from the rest. Ducati’s passion for performance and tradition aligns with Keith’s personal expectation of the motorcycle he chooses to ride. After being a tech for seven years, he moved to service writing and was promoted to service manager. From there, Keith took on various responsibilities within the dealership including parts sales, bike sales, financing and eventually he became a sales manager.

Keith’s love for the Ducati brand led him to Italy in October of 2019 for the World Ducati Premiere, which is a highly coveted event for Ducati dealers and motorcycle enthusiasts. During his time in Italy, Keith visited the Ducati Museum, Scrambler Café, & toured the Ducati Factory.

When Rahal Ducati Indianapolis’ owner, Graham Rahal, was considering launching this new business, he knew Keith was the perfect fit for General Manager based on previously working together on Graham’s personal Ducati collection. Keith’s dealership experience, industry rapport and brand knowledge were the key skills Graham knew he’d need in a General Manager to have a successful Ducati dealership.

Next up is Joel Martens, our Service Manager. He’s traveled all over the U.S. with Ducati but came to us from Ducati Omaha in March. His passion for motorcycles sparked in high school when he took a motorcycle junkyard job after school. He started working in the Championship Cup Series racing club in 1998. After purchasing his first Ducati, a 916, he fell in love with the brand. He went to school at WyoTech in Daytona Beach, Florida, and became a Ducati Factory Certified Technician in 2009 and a certified Ohlin’s Suspension Technician in 2012. He also currently serves as a Chassis Technician for the MotoAmerica KWR Ducati Superbike team.

Our service shop is completed with Ducati Factory Certified Technician, Justin Savader, who has been building an outstanding reputation within the industry since 2013. Justin served as Parts Manager at Westfield Powersports early in his career. His specialty was representing Westfield at various events, such as MotoGP and SuperCross, by managing their on-site vendor booths. He moved on to the Ducati brand soon after and completed his Ducati Level 2 Technician Certification in 2018. Justin’s attention to detail and exceptional customer service are what set him apart from ordinary technicians. When he’s not working on bikes you can find him at a private track day riding his 2004 Ducati 999 Superbike.

Working alongside service is our parts department, managed by John Robinson. John has worked in the industry for over 20 years and has been riding for 40! He bought his first bike in October of 1981 after convincing his dad that it would allow him to get around his college campus quicker. John has worked with various brands during his tenure and started working with the Ducati brand in 2017. He’s owned a few different bikes in the 40 years that he’s been riding, but currently has a 2018 Monster 821.

To round out our Rahal Ducati Indianapolis team is Jarrad Rahal, who handles sales and transport. Growing up with a dad who owned Ducati bikes, Jarrad developed a passion for the brand as well. He started riding and getting involved in the motorcycle industry a little over 15 years ago and his first bike was a Ducati 695 Monster. He’s owned a few different bikes over the years and currently has a 2021 Streetfighter V4 S.

“I’ve been on the customer side of the Ducati brand for most of my life,” said Graham Rahal, “Transitioning into the role of a dealership owner, I knew the team I put together needed to be incredible. I feel confident Keith and I have been able to do that here. I’m proud to have these guys on the team to give Indiana Ducati enthusiasts the level of service and care they deserve.”

Our entire team is honored to serve Indiana as the exclusive Ducati dealership in the state. Make sure you stop by Rahal Ducati Indianapolis next time you’re in the Indianapolis area to say hi and check out our showroom floor, including Graham Rahal’s personal Ducati collection. Our staff will be happy to assist you and answer any questions. With all their experience, they’re sure to help you find the solution you need.
